Located 200m from The Storeroom, the Cooks cottage is a beautifully restored piece of history, and makes for a luxurious couples retreat. Originally built in the 1870’s to house the family cook, the dwelling has been fully restored with modern amenities, but still encapsulates the coziness and simplicity of farm life.
Fernglen Retreat, Homewood Road
Staying here is like retreating to your own little isolated world. The renovated two-room cabin contains a pretty bedroom with sea views and a stylish and cozy lounge and kitchen prep area. Outdoor seating provides the perfect place to soak up the warm rays on the deck as the sun rises over the ocean. A separate toilet and shower facility are located outside, just steps away.
Ti Tree Rural Escape, Kaiwhata Road
If you need to relax and have a restorative break away then Ti Tree is the place to come. This is an unknown part of the country that has ancient geology and astounding beauty. Approximately 7 minutes drive South from the Storeroom. Suitable for couples.
We have recently opened a “POP” (Park over Property) site just past the Storeroom. Suitable for self contained Caravans and Motor Homes, situated in a paddock overlooking the ocean. Ask our staff for more information if you are interested in staying.
